What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
The best advice I could offer First Time Home Buyers is to prepare early on by talking to a mortgage professional to discuss your goals and to come up with a custom plan that best fits YOUR needs.
By discussing your mortgage options and personal credit report profile early, first time home buyers can develop a game-plan leading into the one of the biggest investments of their life. Proper preparation leads to a much smoother and enjoyable process for all everyone involved. It is extremely important to feel comfortable with your new mortgage payments, which is why it’s so important to discuss your goals early and often throughout the mortgage process.
Also, please don’t be afraid to ask questions! It’s my job to get you to the finish line (and I will!), but it’s also my job to educate my clients on the process and make sure they understand what they’re doing and how things work.
